Captain Matty

Captain Matty has been guiding on the Kenai Peninsula for over a decade and his passion for fishing is obvious from the minute you meet him.  After many years of being the head guide at Drifter's Lodge in Cooper Landing, Matty has taken his passion to the next level with the opening of Kenai River Cowboys in Sterling, Alaska. His roots are originally from Wyoming where he found his love for fishing on the Northern Platte River for brown trout.  These days he can be found on Kenai and Kasilof Rivers in his favorite Alaskan fishing holes looking for monster rainbow trout, king and sockeye salmon.  

 

Captan Dusty

Captain Dusty is our head guide here at Kenai River Cowboys. Growing up in Montana, Dusty has over 20 years of experience guiding the waters of Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. As a former Marine, he excels at managing both the younger guides and his boat on the water. Guests rave about their time on the river with Capt. Capt. Nick

Captain Nick comes to us from Washington. He has a passion to fish and excels in guest relations. He has been fishing for Salmon and Steelhead his entire life and loves to share his passion with our guests. His friendly, kindhearted demeanor will ensure your day is one to remember. We are pleased to welcome Capt. Nick for his second season with us!

Captain Mark

Captain Mark is a born fisherman. Also growing up in Washington, he basically grew up with a fishing rod in his hand. He will fish day and night and is one of the most passionate fishing guides we have come across. He is young but knows his stuff. He is one of the fishiest guides out there.  A day spent fishing with Capt. Mark will be one to remember.
